What is Capacity Building?

Capacity Building through Collectively works with individuals, organizations, systems and communities to prioritize mental wellness. Capacity building is based on the identified needs of the customer, involves an initial assessment to identify baseline needs and results in the development of a comprehensive plan to move forward. Capacity Building includes: • Training- Collectively provides training events to all-sized groups. Curriculum is specialized to meet the individualized needs of the client. (click here for a list of available training- get from RR), • Facilitation- Collectively offers organizational group facilitation to address identified challenges. Facilitation is typically provided for dynamic working groups. • Coaching- Coaching is available to assist individuals in creating a plan and then supporting them in utilizing their plan to advance themselves and others. • Technical assistance- Technical assistance is available for non-profit organizations around grant implementation and system infrastructure.
